Other Details to Note

Hot Tub: The hot tub is professionally drained, cleaned, and refilled after every guest. As the cabin uses well water, some natural sediment may settle after cleaning. The temperature is lowered between stays to conserve energy and may need to be turned up upon your arrival. Please contact us within 24 hours of check-in with any concerns. Waterfalls: The strength of the waterfalls on the property is seasonal. The short hike to the ~20ft cascading waterfall may be more difficult than usual following recent storms. Please wear appropriate footwear and supervise children. Wi-Fi: We offer unlimited 5G Wi-Fi through T-Mobile for your convenience. Linens: For the top bunk, fresh linens will be neatly folded at the foot of the bed for your use. Starter Pack: We provide a starter pack of essentials (e.g., toilet paper, paper towels). We do not restock these supplies during your stay. Security: For your safety and security, one security camera is located outside the cabin, pointed towards the driveway. TV & Firewood: For streaming services on the TV, please bring your own passwords (BYOP), as cable is not available. We provide complimentary firewood for the oversized firepit by the creek. Driveway & Road Access: The last 1/2 mile to the cabin is an uphill gravel road. It is graded monthly and kept in good condition year-round. In inclement weather, we recommend a vehicle with all-wheel drive. During snowy conditions or winter storms, an all-wheel or 4-wheel vehicle is required. The driveway to reach the property is paved but it is somewhat steep. Vehicles can park at the bottom of the driveway if desired. Travelers Insurance: We recommend to all our guests to purchase traveler's insurance year-round. We do not refund for inclement weather. Heating/AC: Please note that along with most of the cabins in Maggie, the cabin is equipped with manually-controlled baseboard heaters. It is the guest’s responsibility to keep children and pets away from these while in use because the surface will get hot. We also have window AC units that are manually controlled. Windows: The windows in the cabin are original. For preservation and safety, we ask our guests to keep them closed. Trash/Wildlife: For our guests' safety and wildlife preservation, we do not keep trash receptacles outside of the cabin. If there is an extended stay, the guest may have to take their trash to the county waste site, just in town. Maggie Valley does not have regular trash service due to mountainous terrain and wildlife.

Book it!! The house was genuinely beautifully designed in this really warm homey way. The location is breathtaking. We sat out there by the waterfall and just listened so many times. We hiked the trail with our 5 and 2-year-old and they were stopping every few steps to hunt for gnomes and were just the happiest little humans. We even spotted a dozen elk driving up the mountain! The nights outside were just magic. Building a fire (SO appreciated the abundance of wood), roasting hot dogs for dinner, making s'mores, then getting to jump in the hot tub. The whole area is so charming too and we appreciated Chris and Jena’s recommendations for the yummiest little spots right nearby. The hosts were genuinely so kind and responsive and the house was well stocked with everything you could need and more! We adored the house so much it was hard to leave to explore the town. Highly recommend this absolute gem of a spot!

We had an exceptional stay at this beautiful cabin and truly cannot recommend it highly enough. The property was impeccably clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to prepare full meals with ease. Thoughtful touches throughout the stay made it especially memorable — including a welcome basket for our dog and cozy flannel shirts for guests to enjoy around the fire. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our vacation, from relaxing in the hot tub and gathering around the fire pit to peaceful afternoons on the porch listening to the soothing sound of the waterfall. Thank you, Chris and Jena, for your outstanding hospitality and for creating such a wonderful experience for our family. We look forward to returning in the future.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the most wonderful week staying at this cabin, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better mountain getaway. The cabin was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay as a family of four. You can tell the hosts really care about their guests. Every detail felt intentional and welcoming. The decor was absolutely charming and cozy, perfectly fitting the mountain setting while still feeling stylish and warm. We also loved that the cabin was dog friendly, which made the trip even more meaningful since we could bring our pup along to enjoy the mountains with us. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, responsive, and kind, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a clean, cozy, family friendly, and pet friendly mountain retreat. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful space! 🏔️🐾
